6am in Shanghai

Awake at 6 am. Could be worse as far as jet leg goes. Thank you “deep sleep” herbal capsules.

The new apartment is awesome, and the neighborhood has some great things steps away–in the few moments that I saw it before we ate Chinese take-out, watched the first episode of Twin Peaks and zzzzzzzzz.

The buildings are a little shorter here, and several are pink. I can’t get connected to the VPN for some reason–oh the VPN, I’d sort of blocked you out of memory. (VPN is what helps you get on Facebook and other sites blocked in China.)

So…here I am, back in China.

Some 15th floor views below. Oh and some wisdom from the immigration video I watched in the customs line: “A smile draws a line from heart to heart.” :-)
