I’ve been taking a lake break since arriving in the midwest, hanging out with my parents and my dog, enjoying fresh water and sun, and catching up on 6 months of stateside odds and ends (paperwork and other unfun things, bah humbug!)

But–I’ve got lots to tell you about–the trip to Suzhou with a bunch of lawyers, the trip to Mexico with a bunch of birthy folks, and the beginning of my stay here in Wisconsin and Minnesota for the next couple months.  I can’t believe how long I can go without seeing more than a couple of people at a time here, and I find the horizon wonderfully indulgent–not a skyscraper in sight.
