me on Mildly Minnesotan

Laura Holway is a Minnesotan (yay!), a dancer/performer, writer and freelancer in Minneapolis. She is friends with some of my favorite people, and back when we first moved to Seward, Sean and I would see her smiling face when we’d stop at the Birchwood Cafe. (Oh, the Birchwood, will we find a Shanghai version of you?…I digress.)

I was recently reading her site about art and freelancing and all sorts of good stuff, when I found her series “The Things We Make.”  I thought, Wow, what a great idea! I should participate sometime!  She asks such a great question, that it percolated in my mind for a few days and “sometime” came real soon.  It was a great process–if you are an artist, I recommend it!  If you aren’t, her site still has lots of  inspiration.
