CSAlove waves goodbye

pickling bonanza!

The CSAlove show comes down this week at CK. It’s been a great summer of enjoying the work of 12 wonderful artists, talking and thinking about farmers and food, and we wrapped it all up with a super-fun pickling workshop on Sunday with Liz McMann.

Liz was a great instructor–she is full of useful info. and I was pleasantly reminded how much of cooking is a chemistry experiment. (Well, hopefully not when you are canning–ALWAYS use a trusted recipe!!) Liz teaches classes at Mississippi Market in St. Paul–check out their class schedule.
