CSAlove update

I hope you’ve all been keeping up with CSAlove, either at the site: CSAlove.tumblr.com, on facebook or on twitter!

If not or even so, here I am to update you. The call for art ended last Thursday, and we received lots of beautiful submissions. Everyone’s been notified and the work should arrive to Chakra Khan in early June, ready for your viewing on the 7th, and running through August.

The artists include a new farmer, some CSA members, abstract artists, a documentary maker, and even one artist pair that has been working on art about farming issues since the ’80s. I feel very lucky to have thrown my request out to the world and gotten such interesting work back!

There will be several events associated with the exhibition–we are still ironing out the details, so stay tuned for the final word. In the meantime I’d be delighted if you’d follow us on fbook or twitter and tell your friends about CSAlove.
